The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has been suspended by the party’s ward in Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State.
Halliru Gwanzo, the ward’s legal advisor, revealed this information at a press conference today, April 15. Gwanzo highlighted the Kano State Government’s accusations of bribery against Ganduje as justification for the suspension.
Because of the nature of the accusations made against Dr. Ganduje, we have decided to suspend him from the party, according to Gwanzo.
The suspension is in place as of Monday, April 15, 2024, until the former governor of the state disavows the accusations, according to the ward APC leaders.
The national chairman of the APC has not yet responded to the suspension.
