Verona vs. Juventus

Verona vs. Juventus

With another NextGen player beginning, Dusan Vlahovic, Verona’s giant killers, take on Thiago Motta’s revamped Juventus in an unlikely top-of-the-table matchup.

The match begins at the Stadio Bentegodi at 18.45 GMT (or 19.45 UK time).

The fact that one of these teams could be the only one with a perfect record after two rounds speaks something about how unpredictable the results have been thus far.

Despite Suat Serdar’s injury, Verona is keen to steal another major scalp after thrashing Napoli 3-0 in their opening game. Brace hero Daniel Mosquera will make his first appearance in the starting lineup.

Juventus easily defeated Como 3-0, but they also suffered injuries to Tim Weah, Khephren Thuram, Arkadiusz Milik, and an injured Danilo.

Although it was anticipated that Douglas Luiz would make his debut, Nicolò Fagioli will start in midfield instead.

Andrea Cambiaso takes on a more advanced role at right-back while Nicolò Savona, a 21-year-old player for the youth squad, replaces Danilo.
