The District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Kankara, also known as the Kanwan Katsina, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Kasimu Dan Tsoho Katoge on his inauguration as the Chairman of Kankara Local Government Area (LGA). The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Radda.

In a statement issued on Monday, Alhaji Kankara, speaking on behalf of his family and the entire Ketare District, expressed confidence in the new chairman’s leadership capacity. He highlighted Hon. Katoge’s previous roles as a member of the Katsina State House of Assembly and former Vice Chairman of Kankara LGA as valuable experience that will aid the area’s development.

The Kanwan Katsina pledged his full support to the administration and assured the chairman of the cooperation of traditional leaders, ward heads, and the community. He also offered prayers for divine guidance and success as the new chairman takes on the responsibilities of his office.

In addition, the monarch commended the Deputy Governor of the State, Malam Faruk Lawal, the Sarkin Fulanin Joben Katsina and a native of Kankara, for his impactful contributions and strong representation of the area.

He concluded with prayers for sustained peace, unity, and good health for the people of Kankara LGA, Katsina State, and Nigeria as a whole.
