The “Muryar Matasan Initiative” Program, themed “Youth, Business & Culture Games”, was successfully held at Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina, offering a structured and entertaining platform focused on youth development in three key areas: Business, Culture, and Sports. The initiative, led by Saratu Hamidu Samaila, brought together young people and key stakeholders in community development.
The event served as a hub for learning and creativity, where youths competed in activities such as quizzes, current affairs, brain teaser, fast eating challenges, and ball-picking games, for promoting the inclusion of persons with special needs.
In the business segment, the program hosted exhibitions where young entrepreneurs showcased their innovations, attracting investors and business leaders interested in exploring new avenues for economic growth.
On the cultural front, attendees were entertained by performances from renowned and emerging musicians, spoken word poetry by Aisha Mukhtar Muttaka, and wheelchair races alongside other captivating games.
The event drew significant attendance from government officials, civil society organizations, businesspeople, and individuals with special needs, all praising the program’s focus on skill enhancement, intellectual growth, and empowering youths to actively contribute to economic and cultural development.
The program concluded successfully, with plans already underway to expand it next year, further strengthening the role of youth in building vibrant and progressive communities.
