Gov Radda Hails Promotion of Katsina-born Aliyu to AIG

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).

Mr. Aliyu, a native of Rimi Local Government Area in Katsina State, previously served as the Commissioner of Police (CP) at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja, where he held the position of Force Quarter Master (FQM). His recent elevation places him in charge of Zone 12, Bauchi.

In his congratulatory message, Governor Radda praised AIG Aliyu’s commitment to duty, professionalism, and dedication to upholding law and order throughout his service in the Nigeria Police Force. He noted that the promotion is a testament to Mr. Aliyu’s outstanding contributions to national security and his unwavering service to the nation.

The governor further highlighted that this achievement is not only a personal milestone for Mr. Aliyu but also a source of pride for Katsina State. He expressed confidence in the officer’s ability to provide effective leadership and enhance security operations in his new capacity.
