The Tinubu/Dikko Guaranteed 2027 (TDG 2027) movement has officially inaugurated its Katsina State leadership committee to begin grassroots mobilization and public enlightenment efforts in support of the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the group’s maiden meeting held on June 2, 2026, the Katsina State Coordinator, Faisal Ja’afar, said the organization is committed to engaging communities across the state and educating citizens on the achievements recorded by both the Federal Government and the Katsina State Government.
He disclosed that the group has adopted a ten-point action plan designed to strengthen public support. The strategy includes community outreach programs, media and social media advocacy campaigns, training of ward-level mobilizers, and the establishment of voter information and engagement centers.
The plan also features youth and women empowerment forums, public opinion tracking mechanisms, distribution of campaign awareness materials, and the formation of a rapid-response team to address misinformation and emerging challenges.
According to the group, some of the notable achievements of the Tinubu and Radda administrations include the development of more than 15,000 housing units across Nigeria, the establishment of the Katsina Community Watch Corps to complement security operations, expansion of irrigation and water infrastructure to boost agricultural productivity, and improvements in healthcare services.
The organization further cited the provision of a ₦1 billion intervention fund for small and medium-scale enterprises through the Bank of Industry, distribution of tricycles to young entrepreneurs, and ongoing road and housing projects aimed at enhancing economic growth and development in Katsina State.
Also speaking at the event, Gambo Garba, Personal Assistant to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, pledged his full support for the initiative. He described the inauguration of the Katsina State leadership committee as a significant step toward promoting unity and increasing public awareness of the developmental strides recorded by the Tinubu and Radda administrations.
He urged supporters to intensify efforts in showcasing government achievements, particularly in the areas of housing, security, agriculture, and economic development.
Gambo Garba also called on youths, women, and other stakeholders to actively support the movement in its quest to secure victory for President Tinubu and Governor Radda in the 2027 elections, stressing that unity, dedication, and effective grassroots engagement would be crucial to achieving the objective.
The group reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the people of Katsina are well informed about the policies and achievements of both administrations and encouraged to continue supporting their leadership beyond 2027.
