Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, has accepted his appointment to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
According to the statement, monitored by Nigerian Post, Governor Radda will focus on mobilising party members, community leaders, youths, women and other stakeholders across the state’s 361 electoral wards to strengthen support for President Tinubu.
Radda thanked President Tinubu and the national leadership of the APC for the confidence reposed in him, assuring them that Katsina would play a significant role in the campaign for the President’s re-election in 2027.
He also called on party leaders and members of the campaign committee in the state to intensify their efforts to strengthen the APC structure from the grassroots level.
“We demonstrated strength and commitment in supporting the APC in 2023.
“This is another opportunity for us to redouble our efforts, remain united and mobilise the people for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Radda said.
