Arsenal Football Club supporters in Masanawa community, Katsina State, organised a special football match to celebrate the club’s victory in the 2026 English Premier League.
The event, held under the leadership of Ummaru Makama, took place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Continental Arena in Katsina. It attracted thousands of Arsenal supporters who gathered to celebrate the club’s achievement while promoting unity, friendship, and solidarity among fans.
As part of the celebration, a football match was played, while several prominent personalities in Katsina State were honoured in recognition of their longstanding support, encouragement, and contributions to the Arsenal supporters’ community.
The organisers said the main objective of the event was to celebrate Arsenal’s 2026 Premier League title and further strengthen the bond among Arsenal fans across Katsina State.
Those honoured expressed their appreciation for the recognition, thanking the organisers for the gesture and commending their efforts in bringing Arsenal supporters together to celebrate the club’s remarkable achievement.
The award recipients included the Chairman of Katsina Local Government Area, Hon. Isah Miqdad A.D. Saude, who was represented by Hon. Kabir Hussaini JJ Masanawa, Councillor representing Wakilin Yamma II Ward; Alhaji Mansir Mansho Suya; Hon. Kabir Hussaini JJ Masanawa, Councillor representing Wakilin Yamma II Ward; and Alhaji Mannir Yusuf Gafai.
