Sixty young men and women who benefited from a business development training programme in Katsina have commended Governor Radda and the management of KASEDA for giving them the opportunity to acquire knowledge aimed at improving their businesses.

The Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) successfully organized a major two-day training programme for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), focusing on export readiness, exhibition strategies, and digital marketing support, with the aim of opening new market opportunities for businesses across Katsina State.

The programme also provided participants with knowledge on export procedures, including requirements such as compliance with regulations of NEPC, NAFDAC, and SON, product quality standards, online export marketing strategies, shipping documentation, and ways of building strong buyer partnerships.

Participants were also trained on digital marketing techniques, including the use of Instagram and WhatsApp to promote their businesses.

According to a report obtained by Nigerian Post, the two-day training programme was launched to strengthen self-reliance among youths.

Earlier, KASEDA had organized and conducted several empowerment programmes for young people on business development and skills improvement to help them become self-reliant.

The training was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the ERC Training Centre in Katsina metropolis, where youths from different parts of the state attended to benefit from the initiative.

The programme focused on teaching participants effective business management skills, profit-making strategies, product marketing methods, financial management, and practical ways youths can grow their businesses with ease.

Beneficiaries of the training expressed their satisfaction and praised the Executive Chairman of KASEDA, Dr. Babangida Kabir Rumah, for his efforts in creating programmes that support youths and entrepreneurs in the state.

They also extended their appreciation to the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, for his commitment to supporting young people and creating opportunities for self-reliance.

Furthermore, the two-day programme was designed to equip youths with practical knowledge and skills that would help them expand their businesses and improve their overall livelihoods.
