Key stakeholders of the APC in Kurfi Local Government Area have held a special meeting aimed at strengthening unity and fostering cohesion among party members ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to a report obtained by Nigerian Post, the meeting brought together prominent political figures from Kurfi LGA, including:

Alh. Shuaibu Shagali Kurfi
Hon. Dan Lami Kurfi
Ali Haliru Kurfi
Hon. Aminu Balele Kurfi
Alh. Mani Kado
Hon. Babangida Kurfi
Alh. Sule Rawayau
Hon. Mannir Shehu Wurma.
The meeting, held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, was led by Hon. Aliyu Rabi’u Kurfi, popularly known as Dan Masanin Kurfi. He stated that the purpose of the gathering was to respond to the call by the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda, for unity among party members.
Among those in attendance were the member representing Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal Constituency, Hon. Aminu Balele, as well as other party leaders, including the Chairman of Kurfi Local Government, Hon. Babangida.
In his remarks, Aliyu Rabi’u Kurfi described the meeting as highly significant for the progress of the party in the area, emphasizing that the leaders came together to reach a common understanding.
He noted that, as leaders, they deemed it necessary to sit down and deliberate in order to strengthen unity and mutual understanding, in line with the governor’s directive. He further stated that all participants agreed on the need to put aside any differences and divisions that may have existed in the past.
He also reassured the public that there is no longer any division among them, calling on all APC supporters in Kurfi to remain united with a shared purpose.
On the issue of political candidacy, he explained that the leaders agreed that who emerges as a candidate is ultimately in God’s hands, adding that all aspirants are ready to support whoever is chosen.
The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment of APC leaders to continue working together to strengthen the party and ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
